Fiumicino is one of the main Italian airports. Here, under the runways, several Jung Pumpen lifting stations have been installed in order to dispose of condensation waters. In underground areas, in fact, condensation easily forms: this is first collected in special tanks and then pumped to the surface, where it is reused for various purposes, such as washing aircraft or supplying utilities to shops and airport premises.
