The Trier Hospital also includes a nurses' residence with a total of 36 flats, which is occupied by nuns. During the upcoming complete renovation, it was imperative that the shower area be barrier-free. However, this could only be realised with the Plancofix floor drainage pump, as the wastewater could no longer be disposed of in the free fall when the shower area was lowered.
